True Fact: I adore people as much as photography.

Photography is both my passion and my work – I am always excited to create something beautiful. I am joy and light, play and love and I always aim to make the best of life. I find it rewarding to discover what is unique and special about someone so I can translate it into a photograph.

As New England native, I attended a small private school, where my first camera was a Pentax K1000 and learned to make pinhole cameras out of an oatmeal canister. It was with black and white film and in the darkroom that I first fell in love with photography. The ability to capture and convey life’s moments still amazes me.

As a former Special Education Teacher and Certified Yoga Instructor, I knew I had a strong intuition and deep understanding of people. On a cross country trip in 2009, I realized that I could use these skills to create a distinct kind of photography. I discovered that my favorite parts about photography are similar to why I loved teaching: both require recognizing what is unique in a person or relationship. To me, this is a magical thing – to capture the essence of a human being in a moment in time.

When not behind the traveling the country with my camera, I’m running, paddle boarding, and chasing adventure in our new home state of Maine.

Lead Photographer

Blake Moloney

Lead Photographer

Blake is quite simply the kind of person you want to be around. Anyone who has met him even once could tell you why he is a photoshoot necessity. His playful personality puts everyone at ease and promises a good time, while getting things done.

Blake honed his skills as a talented photographer by working side-by-side with Jenny over the years. His innate ability to become your best friend in seconds only allows Blake to create even more amazing images. Plus, he can tie a bow tie, help fix the boutonniere, dance that stubborn 2-year-old into a gigglefest or whatever else we need to get that perfect shot.

After spending over a decade coaching and performing improv comedy at ImprovBoston (in Cambridge, MA), Blake breathes humor, adaptability and collaboration into everything he does. Even the slightest possibly stressful moments are quickly transformed into light and fun.

When he’s not taking stunning photographs of new best friends, Blake is a Certified Pediatric Nurse at Boston Children’s Hospital – working with people navigating significant and stressful situations has only enhanced his patience and incredible support. He truly is a master of all that he does, with the skills, compassion and personality to back it up.
